1) What is the minimum qualification for joining?

As per IRDA’s guidelines he should be 18 years and minimum H.S.C. passed.

2) Want to become Insurance Agent. Which exam should I appear?

To become Life Insurance Agent in India a candidate should pass IRDA Pre recruitment qualification examination.

3) I am currently working, Will I have to leave my job?

No, you need not to leave your existing job or profession.

4) What will be the training schedules and timiming for working people?

5) What is the target?

As per LIC guidelines your annual target will be 12 policy (of different person) and 1 lakh total premium.

6) I do not have any previous sales and marketing experience but I wish to join the agency?

Yes, previous experience is not a joining criteria.

7) Do I have to attend training session?

Candidate should complete 25 hours of training from an IRDA approved training institution. Anyway it is not big problem as it can be done offline or online as per the candidate time & convenience.

8) What are the total fees?

At the time of joining you need to pay a sum of ₹ 150/- only. In addition to this you need to pay ₹ 350/- for the purpose of IRDA exam. After joining, all Training and Stationary is absolutely free.

9) What is the type of Exam (written or Online) ?

Exam is ONLINE. No off line exam is available. Once you submit the question paper you will immediately get the result.

10) What is the examination pattern?

The Test contains 50 Multiple Choice Questions in one hour. Each question carries one mark. There is no negative marking for wrong answers. To qualify a person should get minimum 35% marks.
